21st Century Program C-Director

21st Century Learning Center Co-Director
Bancroft-Rosalie School is seeking applications for a Co-Director of the 21st Century Learner Center Program.

Qualifications -Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree with experience relevant to working with children
Job Goal: The Director is directly responsible of the oversight of programs and operations for the 21st Century Community Learning Center Grant. The primary focus will be the coordination of programs development and implementation; staff development, and budget management for the after-school grant.
Performance Responsibilities:
1. Plan, develop, implement, and evaluate overall programs, services and activities to ensure they meet state objectives and the needs and interests of students.
2. Ensure the reporting of student data and information to meet grant reporting requirements to ensure that timelines will be met.
3. Require, manage and provide staff development opportunities for staff and volunteers
4. Conduct regular staff meetings
5. Develop partnerships with parents, community leaders and organizations
6. Develop and maintain public relations to increase the visibility of the after-school programs, services, and activities within the community
7. Supervise and coordinate all staff and volunteers at special events
8. Create a club environment that  
9. Understand your responsibility as a role model for youth
10. Provide accurate financial documentation and management for the site
11. Recruit volunteer staff
12. Actively recruit students to the program.
13. Demonstrate flexibility and ability to manage situations of ambiguity, including helping monitor and supervise students during the after-school hour program
14. Update and maintain skills in use of current technology and information management systems
15. Maintain daily contact with administrators, teachers, after-school staff and volunteers to discuss issues, challenges and opportunities
16. Provide guidance and discipline to students that supports and reinforces the school PBIS program.
17. Arrange transportation for the program participants.
18. Perform all other duties as assigned

Terms of Employment: Twelve months a year. Salary and work year to be established by the Board. Work schedule to be established by the Elementary Principal.

Evaluation:    Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the Board’s policy of Evaluation of Classified Personnel.
