Bancroft-Rosalie February School Board Meeting Minutes
President Nottlemann
called the February 11, 2019 meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. Notice of the
meeting was published 5 days prior to the meeting. Board members present were Trevor
Bonneau, Pam Browning, Pat Browning, Jason Gatzemeyer, Mike Nottlemann and
Casey Novak. President Nottlemann informed the public that the Open Meetings
Act is posted on the north wall of the library.
Motion by Gatzemeyer,
seconded by Pam Browning to approve the minutes of the January 14, 2019 regular
board meeting. Motion carried 6-0.
Motion by Bonneau,
seconded by Novak to allow payment of invoices. Motion carried 6-0.
Superintendent Cerny
gave the financial review.
Motion by Pam Browning,
seconded by Bonneau to adopt the agenda. Motion carried 6-0.
The administrator’s and
board committees presented their reports.
In old business, motion by
Gatzemeyer, seconded by Pat Browning to offer a one-year contract to
Superintendent Cerny with a 1.3895% salary increase. Motion carried 6-0.
In new business the board
reviewed the personnel and curriculum needs for 2019-20.
Head custodian Matt Kai presented
building and grounds needs for 2019-20.
The board reviewed #0631.1 Indian Policies and
Procedures.
Motion by Bonneau, seconded by Novak to offer a one-year contract to
Principal Sjuts with a 1.3895% increase for the 2019-20 school year. Motion carried 6-0.
Motion by Novak, seconded by Bonneau to offer Amy Soll a one-year
teaching contract teaching agriculture for one period daily for the amount of $7200.
Motion carried 6-0.
Motion by Nottlemann, seconded by Pat Browning to accept the bid of
Diode to update the gymnasium sound system in the amount of $7,888. Motion carried 6-0.
Motion by Bonneau, seconded by Pam Browning to adjourn. Motion carried 6-0. The meeting
adjourned at 9:12 p.m.
