East Husker Conference Basketball Brackets

BRLD (4th Seed) will host the first round of the Girls Tournament Friday in Lyons. BRLD plays Tekamah-Herman. BRLD Boys are 2nd seed and get a first round bye. BRLD will host the second round games in Bancroft, playing the winner of Howells-Dodge and Pender.

NSAA Executive Director interviews

Following the interview process conducted by the NSAA Board of Directors today, the Board offered the position and it has been accepted by one of the candidates.

I look forward to another year as Superintendent at Bancroft-Rosalie Community School and the opportunity to assume the District III seat on the NSAA Board of Directors next school year.

E Day planning for Thursday

The latest weather forecast for late Wednesday and Thursday calls for rain turning to snow with high winds and from 2-6 inches of snow for our area.

Teachers are making plans for an E Day Thursday, and possibly Friday.
E Day are considered a day of school.
All students are expected to complete the E Day assignments the same as they would any other class assignment.
Elementary students will be taking their iPads home and there will be assignments for them.

Teachers work from home on E Days and they will be available through email if students need assistance.

Dual Credit courses second semester

Students are taking nine dual credit courses through Northeast Community College second semester.

14 students in British Literature 
11 students in Medical terminology
6 students in Technical Math
5 students in World History
4 students in Trigonometry
4 students in Statistics
3 students in Medication Aide
1 student in Engineering (Fridays at Northeast)


These courses are second semester only. Some students are in year-long courses that are not included in these counts.

43 of the 44 juniors and seniors are enrolled in at least one dual credit course this semester.
