Proposed Student Pick-up and Drop-off area

The school board agreed to purchase the west part of Barber addition lots 11 and 12 south of the school for $16,000. The property will be used for 1) Handicapped parking and additional staff and student parking and 2) Temporary parking for parents who drop off and pick up their students before and after school. This will improve safety by moving the elementary student pick-up point from the east side of the building to the west side and off the street. The next step is to get the property surveyed and agree on an easement for the residents of the house to the east of the property. Alpha surveying has been contacted.
