Senior Legion team at State

The Pender Legion baseball team, composed of players from Pender and Bancroft-Rosalie, defeated Adams-Sterling 11-3 in the first round of the state tournament. Jalen Flock was the winning pitcher. In the second round they beat Stromsburg-Osceola-Shelby 4-1. Eric Browning went the distance on the mound for the win and Levi Beutler had a home run. The team plays tonight at 8:00 p.m. in the winner's bracket final against Elkhorn Mount Michael at Creighton.
