Bancroft-Rosalie School Board news
The Bancroft-Rosalie Board of Education met Monday, June 13, 2011 at 7:30 pm in Bancroft.
Superintendent Cerny reported on achievement test scores for grades 3-7, curriculum, the baseball cooperative, and a health insurance premium holiday in December. Principal Sjuts presented honor roll and the 2010-11 discipline report.
In old business, the board discussed the school display sign.
Bancroft Village board members Chuck Muller and Randy Bargmann asked the school board to consider a lease agreement for use of the park.
In new business, the board reviewed the Food Service Program, a preliminary General Fund budget for 2011-12, and the budget for summer training and workshops. The board approved Morrow, Davies and Toelle as school auditor and gave final approval to the teacher sick leave bank applicants.
The board discussed the $334,000 allocation of Quality School Construction Bonds that were approved by the Nebraska Department of Education in May. Other discussion items included the invitation to join the East Husker Conference and the condition of the Rosalie gym.
