From Northeast Community College
Our Administration and Deans have been working diligently to make changes to the schedule so it works for everyone. Unfortunately, because of many changes that needed to be made, most of the Fridays @ Northeast classes have been affected in some way. Below is an update regarding all Fall or year-long Fridays @ Northeast classes:
All Agriculture courses – Animal Science, Horticulture, Intro to Agriculture Technology – will be moved to the SPRING semester only.
All Applied Technology classes have been canceled EXCEPT for those held in O’Neill - Building Construction and Welding in O’Neill only will be held as scheduled starting in the fall, following social distancing rules.
Graphic Arts will be held in person on the Norfolk campus as planned, following social distancing rules.
Criminal Justice will be held at the times scheduled but will be delivered virtually using Zoom. Students will NOT need to be present on campus.
Early Childhood courses scheduled for the fall will be held at the times scheduled but will be delivered virtually using Zoom. Students will NOT need to be present on campus.
Introduction to Health Sciences will be delivered as an online course.
EMT part I will be hybrid – delivered both online and in person. Students will get more information regarding the schedule as the semester gets closer.
All Nurse Aide courses will be hybrid – delivered both online and in person. Students will get more information regarding the schedule as the semester gets closer.
