The Bancroft-Rosalie Board of Education
met Monday, April 8, 2019 at
7:30 pm in Bancroft. Superintendent
Cerny reported on transportation
and Career Academy opportunities
through Pathways To Tomorrow,
Fridays at Northeast, and the
possibility of Fridays at Wayne State.
Seniors will not have classes at
Bancroft-Rosalie on Fridays. Cerny
also reported on a possible teacher housing
project through Cuming
County Economic Development, teacher
work on proficiency scales
for Career Readiness Standards, and his
participating in the June Board
meeting via Zoom.
Principal Sjuts reported on Graduation,
driver’s education, and coaches
and sponsors assignments in 2019-20.
In new business the board approved the
summer school enrichment and
jump start programs, reviewed the Special Education
and Title I
programs, and approved $500 for annual
recognition luncheon and awards.
Dr. Cerny presented wages and benefits
for classified staff for 2019-20.
May 17 was set as the last student day
of school (2:00 dismissal) and the
Teacher workdays will be May 20-21.
The
board went into executive session to discuss personnel.
