Bancroft-Rosalie School Board news

The Bancroft-Rosalie Board of Education met Monday, June 10, 2013 at 7:30 pm in Bancroft.
A budget hearing was held prior to the regular meeting to amend the Budget of Expenditures by increasing the Qualified Capital Purpose Undertaking Fund by $170,000 in order to pay bills for the building addition that were budgeted for in 2011-12 but were not submitted until the 2012-13 budget year.

Superintendent Cerny presented the May transportation report, the Employee Leave Report, certified State Aid for 2013-14, and the IRS compliance visit. The school will contact Engelhardt’s to look at the gymnasium sound system. A letter from the school insurance company recommended not allowing fireworks sales on school property. Interviews for a Paraprofessional position will be held this week. Staff "Jean Fridays" raised over $1000 that was donated to needy families. 

The following extracurricular assignments were made: Jessica Brichacek- assistant junior high volleyball and Toni Hennig- junior high track. 


In new business, the board approved the amended 2012-13 school Budget of Expenditures,  reviewed the Food Service Program, and reviewed the list of bus drivers, van drivers, substitute teachers and substitute paraprofessionals for 2013-14.
