The Bancroft Beerfest will start at 6:30 pm Saturday at the Country Pub in Bancroft. For $20 you can sample over 25 different beers including apricot ale, some new Iowa beer, and a tasty nut-brown ale from Lincoln. There will be snack foods provided as well.
Pastor Hale of Bancroft will demonstrate beer-making and have some of his own beers to sample. There will also be a limerick contest, with a prize to the winning entries. And the evening will conclude with an auction of beer-related items.
For $20 you can eat, drink, and be merry at the Bancroft Beerfest. Proceeds help support the Neihardt State Historic Site in Bancroft.
