Now is the time for juniors to complete their applications for Boys or Girls State. It is one week in June, and as a former Boys Stater I can tell you it is a fun experience interacting with other students from across the state of Nebraska.
The last three years the number of students applying has been down. Two times we could not even get both positions filled.
Parents, please encourage your son or daughter to apply.
