BRLD Coop Meeting Minutes
August 23, 2021
Bancroft-Rosalie Board Chair Mike Nottlemann called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm in the Bancroft-Rosalie School Library.
In new business, the Boards discussed finances. The Cooperative Fund has a balance of $13,643. The Cooperative Fund will be depleted to $0 and each school will manage their own receipts and expenditures and the funds will be reconciled at the end of the Fall, Winter, and Spring sports seasons.
Bancroft-Rosalie asked to purchase the competition mat from the Coop. The original price of the mat was $9500.
Bancroft-Rosalie proposed to coop junior high girls and boys wrestling this year, and to enter a two-year cooperative agreement for high school girls wrestling. The Lyons-Decatur Board will discuss it at their August 30 Board meeting. The deadline for winter sports cooperative agreements in September 1.
The Committee discussed a letter from the Lyons-Decatur Board requesting that the current Cooperative Sports Agreement be renewed for two more years. Following discussion, the Lyons-Decatur Committee asked for a written statement from the Bancroft-Rosalie Board to share with their community members.
