The Bancroft-Rosalie Board of Education met Monday,
March 13, 2017 at 7:30 pm in Bancroft.
Superintendent Cerny presented the February
transportation report, the March 21 External Accreditation Visit, a possible Marzano
workshop on Competency Based Education, and the NRCSA Spring Conference in which
Bancroft-Rosalie will present a session on Blended and Virtual Learning. Dr.
Cerny notified the board that he will be using his summer vacation days to lead a
workshop for teachers in Tanzania and will be gone from June 18 to
mid-July. The July board meeting may need to be moved back one week.
Principal Sjuts presented a winter and spring activities
summary.
Tess Nottlemann and Justice Johnson, representing the
senior class, received approval from the board for their Senior Trip to Kansas
City April 30.
The
board named the Superintendent authorized representative for federal, state and
local programs, approved a contract with Roxanne Raasch for driver education,
approved teacher evaluation forms, accepted the resignations of teachers Lacey
Sateren and Tara Dolen, and gave first approval to board policies 0580.1 Meal
Charge Policy and 0774 Safety Plan.
