Bancroft-Rosalie School news
The Bancroft-Rosalie Board of Education met
Monday, February 13, 2017 at 7:30 pm in Bancroft. Superintendent Cerny
presented the January transportation report, AQUESST ratings, Cost per pupil
comparison, Feasibility study concepts, E Day summary, Personal Learning Plans,
and the March 21 External Visitation team agenda. Principal Sjuts presented
Parent-Teacher Conference attendance data.
In new business, the board approved the Resolution and
Statement of Creation for Pathways 2 Tomorrow and approved Pat Browning as the
Bancroft-Rosalie Community School representative and Jason Gatzemeyer as the alternate
for the Pathways To Tomorrow Joint Public Agency reviewed curriculum and
personnel needs for 2017-18. Head custodian Matt Kai presented buildings and
grounds needs. In other new business, the board adopted the school calendar for
2017-18.
--> The board went into executive session to discuss Principal evaluation and contract. Following executive session, the board voted to offer a contract extension to Mike Sjuts with a 2.5% increase in salary with benefits.
