My short introduction is about 2/3's of the way through. I addressed the problem of students transferring in that are not at the same performance level as our students. Several of the students have come from schools on the reservation, but some transfer from other Nebraska schools or from other states. We have a great system in place to accelerate students in the curriculum. "Words of Wisdom As part of the application process, all National Blue Ribbon Schools are invited to nominate their principal for the Terrel H. Bell Award for Outstanding Leadership. While attending the Annual National Blue Ribbon Ceremony last fall, the seven 2015 Terrel H. Bell Awardees took some time out to talk about their work. This first video, introducing the seven principals and the primary challenges facing their schools, is part of a series of five Conversations.
