Bancroft-Rosalie School Board news

 
The Bancroft-Rosalie Board of Education met Monday, March 10, 2013 at 7:30 pm in Bancroft. Superintendent Cerny presented the February transportation report, the NRCSA Spring Conference, ObamaCare and Strategic Planning. Principal Sjuts presented the winter and 
spring activities summary and spring sports participation.

During public hearing, Coach Bullet Beaudette asked the board if he should line up summer league and camps for the girls basketball team. Since it was not an agenda item, the board 
did not respond.

In old business the Board moved discussion on administrator contracts to executive session.

In new business the board named the Superintendent authorized representative for federal, 
state and local programs, approved a contract with Roxanne Raasch for driver education, and approved plans for completing the restrooms in the Crow’s Nest and pouring concrete at the 
Park. 

The Board discussed the Homer drug testing policy.

The board went into executive session to discuss the evaluation and hiring of teachers and to continue administrator contract negotiations. Following executive session, the board voted to offer contracts to the teaching staff based on the recommendations.
