Bancroft-Rosalie School begins search for 7-12 Principal
Due to retirement, Bancroft-Rosalie Community
Schools is accepting applications for a Grades 7-12 Principal for the 2020-2021
school year. The District is seeking an educational leader who is positive,
collaborative, and focused on staff development and student growth and achievement.
The Bancroft-Rosalie School District is a
progressive school with 290 PK-12 students. The Secondary School and gymnasium were
built in 1999. Bancroft is located 43 miles south of Sioux City Iowa and 45
miles east of Norfolk.
Bancroft-Rosalie High School is an early
college school in partnership with Wayne State College, Northeast Community
College, Nebraska Wesleyan, and Nebraska Indian Community College. Bancroft-Rosalie School implements Positive Behavior Intervention Supports (PBIS), Multi-Tier System of
Supports (MTSS), Blended Learning, and Personal Learning Plans for all
students.

Jaxon Johnson selected to play in the North-South Shrine Football game in Kearney.
Jaxon becomes the first player from Bancroft since Cliff Schilling played in 1963.
The 62nd Shrine Bowl will be held on June 6 at Ron and Carol Cope Stadium on UNK’s campus. More information can be found at www.NEShrineBowl.org.

Jaxon Johnson, Defensive End, 6-3, 235 Bancroft, Neb. / BRLD HS
Head Football Coach McMenamin about Johnson – "Huge get for the Wildcats. Top player in the area and can play a multitude of positions."
Johnson is a four-year starter in football and three years in basketball for the Wolverines…named Class C-2 All-State during senior season helping BRLD to a 10-2 record and Class C-2 semifinals…on defense recorded 79 tackles with seven sacks and 12 tackles for loss and as a tight end on offense had 787 yards receiving and seven touchdowns…named to Huskerland Class C-2 All-Decade Team and was voted Defensive MVP of the River Battle Bowl…also a standout in basketball earning Class C-2 Second Team All-State honors last season after grabbing 466 rebounds as a junior.
