The data shows that Bancroft-Rosalie Community School is very efficient with funds compared to school districts with similar numbers of students.

A. Report of Principal/Athletic Directors Meeting in Bancroft
1. Recognition of Spring activities accomplishments
            Boys Golf placed 3rd at Districts, 9th at State
            State Track- 5 athletes- Nick Ronnfeldt, State Champion in Shot and Discus,
                                   Kelsey Larsen- 800 run- 7th
            Baseball Team 6-8
            BR student Kariden Briggs received her FFA State Degree, first BR student
           
2. Coaching assignments update- All assignments filled and handed to board.

3. Summer camp transportation- Found drivers for summer camps

4. Purchase of FAT system for the track- Possibly share with Oakland-Craig

5. Recognize multi-sport participation-
            10 Letter Award
            12 Participation Award

6. Junior High Practices
            Start Junior High Girls Basketball before Christmas
            24 or more- Three coaches

Special Education Para-Professional


Bancroft-Rosalie School is seeking applications for a Special Education Paraprofessional. Duties include working with students with disabilities or in need of behavior supports. The paraprofessional will work with students one-on-one and in small groups.

The applicant must meet the federal “highly qualified” requirements. This can be obtained by completing Project Para at the school. A Bachelor or Associate Degree which would qualify for a local substitute certificate is preferred.

The starting wage is dependent upon qualifications and experience.

BRLD Golf Team qualifies for State

Congratulations to the BRLD Golf Team on their third place finish at Districts in Norfolk.  The third place finish has qualified the team for the State Golf Tournament next Tuesday & Wednesday in Kearney. 
Individually, Devon Darnell place 4th among the 70 person
Other team members are Arizona Riecken, Aidan Nelson, Layne Miller and Parker Paulsen.

May School Board Meeting Summary


The Bancroft-Rosalie Board of Education met Monday, May 13, 2019 at 7:30 pm in Bancroft.
Superintendent Cerny presented the April transportation report, expected enrollment for 2019-20, LB289, NRCSA Foreign Exchange Program, and the Human Performance Project. Principal Sjuts reported on semester tests, senior sneak trip, and graduation.

In new business, the board reviewed the preliminary budget study, summer staff training and workshops, and major purchase requisitions. The Board approved the purchase of a Ford ten passenger van.

In other new business, the Board set wages for activity bus drivers and substitute teachers and classified staff and accepted the resignations of Viktor Sundleaf, Rebecca Schmeckpeper and Stacy Bacon.
